Celebrating Birmingham's Best Employers

What Are The Awards?

Join us on June 11th 2026 for the inaugural Birmingham Business Best Places to Work Awards, an evening dedicated to recognising the organisations that make the region a great place to work.

jesper with-fogstrup

Keynote Speaker

We are delighted to announce that Jesper With-Fogstrup has agreed to be the awards' keynote speaker.

Jesper is the group CEO of Moneypenny, a global customer conversations company founded in Wrexham. The business has grown into an industry leader and has been repeatedly recognised, in numerous high-profile awards, for its outstanding workplace culture

Jesper's professional career is formidable. After holding senior roles at HSBC and Compare the Market - where he led large-scale digital transformations and growth - he became CEO of Smoove plc., a digital platform that revolutionised the home buying and selling process through prop-tech and legal-tech solutions.

In a fireside Q&A with host Carl Jones, we'll hear how Jesper is blending deep tech expertise with Moneypenny's people-first culture - unlocking the full potential of both its platforms and its people.

Expect insights on wellbeing, DEI and what meaningful investment in people and workplace really looks like.

Taking place in the stunning Great Hall at the University of Birmingham, these prestigious awards are staged by Birmingham Business magazine in partnership with AllinAll Events.

The aim is simple: to celebrate outstanding employers who understand that a happy, engaged, and loyal workforce is key to long-term success.

These are the businesses that foster positive cultures, empower their people, and enable talent to thrive.

The judging is a rigorous three-stage process ensuing complete integrity. The process will be carried out by a select panel of respected business leaders and employers.

While the winners and finalists will be honoured at a flagship black-tie ceremony, the Best Places to Work Awards extend far beyond one evening.
